Delivery

These delivery rules apply to all orders placed through our website and are designed to make the delivery process clear, fair, and reliable for our customers. They do not affect your statutory consumer rights under UK law.

1. Delivery Areas

We deliver throughout the Scottish Borders, across mainland UK.

Highlands and Islands deliveries are available on request and may be subject to additional charges and longer delivery times.

Deliveries outside our standard areas may be arranged on request, with any additional charges clearly communicated before purchase.

2. Delivery Charges

Free delivery on all orders over £500.

Orders under £500 may incur a delivery charge based on location, order size, and access requirements.

Any applicable delivery fee will be clearly confirmed before checkout or at point of order confirmation.

All charges, including any additional fees for remote or restricted locations, will be confirmed to the customer in writing before payment is taken.

3. Delivery Timescales

Stock items are usually delivered within 3–10 working days, subject to availability.

Made-to-measure or special-order items have longer lead times, which will be confirmed at the time of purchase.

All delivery dates are estimated, and delays may occur due to supplier or logistical issues. We will keep you informed if this happens.

4. Delivery Appointments

We will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient delivery date.

Where possible, we provide an estimated delivery window.

Customers must ensure someone aged 18 or over is present to accept delivery.

5. Access Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and adequate access to the delivery location.

Please inform us in advance of:

  • Stairs, narrow hallways, tight corners, or low ceilings
  • Parking restrictions or long carry distances

If delivery cannot be completed due to undisclosed access issues, additional charges may apply or delivery may need to be rescheduled.

6. Room of Choice & Set-Up

We offer room-of-choice delivery where access allows.

Assembly and set-up services are available as follows:

  • Divan Bed Assembly: £20
  • Bed Frame Assembly: £40
  • Bunk Bed Assembly: £70
  • Furniture Assembly: Price on request

Assembly prices assume standard access and conditions. Additional charges may apply for restricted access or complex installations.

Assembly charges will be confirmed before delivery.

Existing beds can be dismantled if required, provided this has been agreed in advance.

7. Removal & Recycling

We offer removal and recycling of old items by prior arrangement. Prices are as follows:

  • Mattress: £20
  • Bed: £20
  • Bed & Mattress: £30
  • Armchair: £25
  • 2 Seater Sofa: £40
  • 3 Seater Sofa: £60
  • Corner Sofa: £80
  • Other items: Price on request

Items must be ready for collection unless otherwise agreed.

Removal and recycling charges will be confirmed before delivery.

8. Failed or Missed Deliveries

If no one is available to accept delivery at the agreed time, a redelivery charge may apply.

Repeated failed delivery attempts may result in order cancellation, with delivery costs deducted from any refund.

9. Inspection on Delivery

Please inspect your goods on delivery.

Any visible damage or missing items must be reported immediately or noted on the delivery paperwork.

Issues reported after delivery should be raised within 48 hours.

10. Cancellations & Changes

Delivery dates can be changed with reasonable notice.

Orders cancelled after dispatch may incur delivery and return costs.

Bespoke or made-to-measure items cannot be cancelled once production has started, in line with your statutory rights.

11. Liability & Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control, including severe weather, accidents, or supplier disruptions.

In such cases, delivery will be rearranged at the earliest opportunity.

Nothing in this document affects your statutory consumer rights.
